Surprise your loved ones by making them some yummy Vegan French Toast. With this recipe yielding 6-8 slices, there's enough for the entire family!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 Tbsp of chia seeds, ground (use a coffee grinder)
- 1.5 cups of plant-based milk of choice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6-8 slices of bread of choice, I used sourdough
Method:
- Grind chia seeds first if you can
- Throw everything into a blender and mix well
- Pour mixture into a shallow bowl
- Dip bread to coat each side evenly
- Cook in air fryer on high until crispy (about 10-12 mins)
- No air fryer, cook in a frying pan the traditional way
Toppings:
- Herbaland gummies
- Fresh berries
- Coconut whipped cream
- Cacao nibs
Other ideas:
- Maple syrup
- Powdered sugar
- Caramelized apples
