Community
We act locally and think globally.
At Herbaland, we believe that everyone should have access to safe nutrition.
Herbaland is dedicated to supporting communities both locally and globally by providing earth-friendly nutrition and monetary support to those in vulnerable situations. Each year, we passionately volunteer, give, and partner with diverse communities, striving to be a business that gives back, while fostering strong bonds and connections around the world.
Charity Fundraiser Program
One key way Herbaland works with various charity partners is through supporting charity fundraisers. This can be done in a few ways, but generally through fundraising auctions! Since 2022, we’ve donated fundraising gift boxes to over 50 charities! Organizations such as Ecocooks, BC Women’s Health Foundation, Down Syndrome BC, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and many more.
Convoy of Hope
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. In 2024, we donated over $150,000 of gummies to support Convoy of Hope's far-reaching campaigns.
Mikinakoos Children’s Fund
Mikinakoos Children’s Fund is a charity created to address the quality of life imbalance in remote northwestern Ontario communities by improving access to food, clothing and basic amenities. On September 30th, 2022, we donated 100% of our online sales to the Mikinakoos Children’s Fund and in 2023 we donated over $12,000 worth of gummies to the communities they support.
Mamas for Mamas
One of our longest and most impactful partnerships, Mamas for Mamas is a Canadian charity that supports mothers in vulnerable situations, with essentials such as clothes, nutrition, and more. Since 2021, we have stocked the shelves at the Mamas for Mamas Karma Market where moms can pick up what they need, free of charge. In the last 5 years, Herbaland has donated over $80,000 to support local BC mothers.
YWCA Vancouver
YWCA is an organization with the goal of advancing the well-being of women and families through advocacy and integrated services that support personal, collective, and economic well-being. In 2022, we started working with YWCA by donating products to Crabtree Corner, a facility located in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside that helps women, children, and families who are marginalized. Since then, we have worked with YWCA’s all over Canada, donating over $67,000 worth of product and monetary donations.
Inspire Health
Inspire Health is a BC-based charity that provides support for those living with cancer, before, during, and after their treatment. In 2023, we donated $4,100 of gummies and $3000 cash to Inspire Health, supporting their Rain Walk campaign and the Night to Inspire gala. In 2024, we donated $3,150 of product to support the previously mentioned events.
Backpack Buddies
Backpack buddies helps to tackle the weekend hunger gap, serving roughly 4000 meals every week to those who need them. Herbaland has helped out at Backpack buddies on a few different occasions, and most recently our team helped to pack 1250 bags for kids in need!

Herbaland Athletes
We are proud to support Sam Schachter and Dan Dearing, Canadian pro beach volleyball players, on their journey to Paris 2024. We’ve worked with Sam and Dan since 2022, and we’re honoured to be on their team - from the sidelines of course! Learn more about our Herbaland Athletes below.
Inclusive Employment Opportunities
We work with Aspire Richmond and the Canucks Autism Network to provide employment opportunities for individuals on the Autism spectrum. This program has been a great success, and we are proud to create an inclusive work environment, where people from diverse backgrounds can feel safe and appreciated.

In 2021, Herbaland Community Scholarship began supporting Richmond students for higher education. Over time, it has expanded its impact and value.
