My time at Herbaland since 2018 has been a continuous journey of stepping up and learning how to lead. I started in a technical role in R&D and gradually took on more responsibility—moving into regulatory affairs, innovation, and eventually operations. Each role challenged me to think differently, lead more effectively, and support others in their growth. Now, as Director of Operations, I focus on building strong teams, shaping strategy, and creating the kind of structure that allows people to do their best work. Herbaland has given me the space to grow into leadership, not just through titles, but through trust, real challenges, and the chance to make meaningful decisions. 

When I first joined Herbaland in 2023 as an E-commerce Team Lead, my focus was solely on the online business. At the time, I was passionate about digital strategy, but I had little exposure to the broader operations of the company. Over time, I was given the opportunity to learn about the offline business from retail partnerships to in-store strategy. This experience truly opened my eyes and helped me understand the full cycle of the business. It was a turning point that deepened both my knowledge and appreciation for what it takes to build a successful brand. Today, I’m proud to serve as Herbaland’s Sales and E-commerce Manager. In this role, I lead a strong and passionate team, shape strategy, and manage customer relationships across multiple channels. What makes this journey so meaningful is the people. Everything I’ve learned has been possible because I’m surrounded by an incredibly supportive team. At Herbaland, we don’t just work together, but we grow together. It truly feels like one family.

Working at Herbaland for the past 3.5 years has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I’ve had the opportunity to grow professionally, being promoted twice and now leading our marketing team. Throughout my time here, I’ve worked alongside a talented and supportive group of people who’ve made every challenge feel like a team effort. What stands out most is the variety of learning opportunities I’ve had, from managing campaigns and product launches to traveling for events in Taiwan, LA, Toronto, and more. Herbaland has a fun, dynamic culture that encourages creativity, and the work we do genuinely aligns with my values, especially our focus on sustainability and giving back to the community. On top of that, the company truly respects work-life balance. It’s easy to take time off when needed, which helps me stay motivated and refreshed. I feel proud of what I do here every day and I’m excited to see what’s next.

My journey with Herbaland Naturals since 2018 has been nothing short of extraordinary. In seven years, I’ve had the privilege of growing from an R&D Technician to the Director of Research & Development. This remarkable progression is a testament to the opportunities provided by Herbaland. The company’s nurturing environment has allowed me to take initiatives, lead projects, and contribute to the development of our R&D department. Herbaland is not just a place to work; it’s a place to grow and flourish together with an incredible team.

Being a part of the Herbaland family for the past 5 years has been a very appreciative and welcoming experience. I first worked here as part of the packaging and production team being referred by my aunt. It wasn’t until after a position opened up that I was offered to work in the accounting department. I’m grateful knowing that since day 1, the company took note of my educational background and eventually gave me the opportunity to use my skills. I have learned and grown, not just from the day-to-day work but also from being in a positive environment and interacting with the friendly people here. Having worked on the production floor to working in an administrative role, I can honestly say that that energy exudes from each and every person at Herbaland.

I started at Herbaland 3.5 years ago as an Admin Staff/Receptionist, where I supported daily office operations and front desk tasks. With my previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, I was able to assist with customer inquiries, business requests, and internal support with confidence and care. Over time, I took on more responsibilities—supporting HR tasks, helping organize company events, and assisting the Purchasing Officer by processing employee office supply requests. Each role helped me grow into a more reliable, flexible, and service-oriented team member.

One of the biggest reasons I’ve stayed this long is because the Herbaland family makes me feel valued—not just as an employee, but as a person. I’ve always done my best to make sure everyone is taken care of, whether it’s helping with work needs, sharing snacks, or being the “Shoppers Drug Mart” of the office when someone needs a quick fix! 😊 It’s been a meaningful journey, and I’m proud to be part of a team where care, support, and connection truly matter.

My time at Herbaland started in 2016. I began with the packaging team and then was given the opportunity to grow in many different roles. I was able to gain perspectives from several departments, working in Operations, Inventory, Sales, and Business Development. I have also had the opportunity evolve as a leader while guiding multiple teams towards our various objectives. In my current role as Senior Business Development Manager, I am able to help the company expand across the world, visiting many new places and learning so many valuable lessons. I look forward to continuing growing with the company in the future.

I started my journey with Herbaland by making freelance videos for the marketing team. When the pandemic struck and I lost my part-time job, I suddenly found myself without a job. That’s when Herbaland reached out and offered me a full-time position. That call changed everything for me. Now, more than five years later, I look back and see how much I’ve grown, both at work and in life. I’ve learned how to communicate better, I’ve made great friends, and I’ve always felt supported by my team. Most recently, I was given the chance to take on a new challenge in the Business Development department, something I never imagined when I first started.

Herbaland isn’t just a workplace for me, it’s a place that believed in me, helped me grow, and made me feel like I truly belong.

Herbaland has opened my eyes to the wonders of working for a certified B-Corp company! Being family-owned, the team has put a lot of thought into its culture and operations. There is a care for the small details, and a focus on empowering staff to become leaders in their fields. Herbaland has actively supported me and my community in so many ways, including helping me with up-skilling opportunities, and ensuring I had access to an all-gender accessible washroom!
