1: Digital Marketer

As a Digital Marketer, the majority of your job will be handling online marketing, data and image entry (i.e. amazon) and maintaining/interacting with social media audiences. You will also assist the design manager and help with basic design work. The role could involve taking a simple hand-drawn scamp or an interactive wire-frame and turning it into a digital campaign or website layout using Photoshop and/or other Adobe creative suite software.

Qualifications/ job description:

  • The full project life-cycle – from brief and pitch to usability and build
  • Working from scamps or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
  • Assisting the sales department
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to the team.
  • An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (this could include Flash, After Effects and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS can be beneficial but is not always essential
  • Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
  • High attention to detail.

 Education/ requirements:

  • A formal degree or diploma from a reputable art college and work experience.
  • You’ll have an established portfolio of work to demonstrate your experience and ability.

2: Research and Development Technician

We are a fast-growing nutraceutical company located in Richmond, BC with clients based in over 20 countries around the world. Currently, we are seeking a Product Research and Development Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting and leading product development projects from concept through to commercialization
  • Working with the production team to conduct plant trials
  • Maintaining accurate and organized records of R&D and trial activities
  • Sourcing and purchasing of raw materials from suppliers
  • Participating in weekly meetings and tasting sessions
  • Other related duties as assigned

 The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capacities:

  • Strong analytic, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully multi-task, prioritize work load, and achieve deadlines

Experience/ Knowledge Required:

  • Degree/ diploma in Food Science, Nutrition or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in nutraceutical, ingredients or confectionary industry preferred
  • Knowledge in organic chemistry
  • Familiarity with Natural Health Product ingredients and Health Canada NHPD regulations
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Food Safety Systems, SOP’s, GMP’s, HACCP

3: Quality Control Technologist

QC Technologist:


  • Follow written procedures for approval of raw materials, sampling and inspection of in-process, finished products and packaging materials.
  • Enforce Good Document Practices and ensure all in-process records are maintained.
  • Monitoring and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Monitor environmental controls.
  • Maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and technical support in production.
  • Help to monitor the facility, trained personnel, equipment and make sure they are up to GMP standards.


  • Undergraduate bachelors level education in a relevant area is sufficient


  • Must have at least 1 year of nutraceutical / natural health product experience
  • Interest in food/ natural health products/ pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Motivated, positive attitude and an attention to detail is necessary


Salary is based on experience, plus annual bonus and extended health benefit after probation period.

4: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our Natural Health business is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our staff. We are looking for a highly organized and efficient shipping and Receiving clerk. The successful candidate will handle both initial shipping and any returns or replacements as well as tracking deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with suppliers.


Job duties:

  • Performing unpacking of shipment deliveries
  • Preparing shipping documents.
  • Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Consolidating shipping orders.
  • Creating mailing labels
  • Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
  • Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
  • Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping
  • Track inventory and report any shortages to sales team so they can update the website
  • Process orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package/shipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
  • Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list



  • Must have high attention to details
  • Work well in a team environment and have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • At least one year of warehouse and shipping/receiving work experience
  • Strong computer skills
